Many courses and coaching programs get built for a hypothetical client with steady energy and a calendar that behaves itself. For those of us with ADHD, reality includes time-blindness and motivation that arrives in surprise bursts (sometimes at 11pm, sometimes three weeks after the cohort ended). Those traits deserve accommodation in the offers we create and the offers we buy.

Here's where traditional offers tend to trip up neurodivergent folks:

– Urgency overload.
Countdown timers and "last chance" emails can trigger shutdown in a brain that experiences time differently.

– Complexity.
Twelve modules, bonus masterclasses, and a Slack channel per cohort? Plenty of people check out before they figure out what's included.

– Rigid scheduling.
Live-only sessions with no replays leave behind anyone who works in windows of focus.

– Invisibility.
When an offer never mentions neurodivergence, buyers have a harder time trusting their access needs will be respected.

Good news: small, thoughtful shifts make a big difference.

This blog is written for both sides of the checkout page: MegBrunson.com/adhd-friendly-offers

I'd love to hear from you: What's one offer feature that helped you actually finish something you signed up for?

Replays, transcripts, a forgiving deadline, something else entirely? Tell me in the comments.

Making your offers more accessible can start with

Making your offers more accessible can start with a few small edits you could make this week.

Once you understand how decision fatigue and overwhelm show up in sales, the next question is what to do about it…

1. Simplify decision-making
If you offer multiple packages, lead with a clear "start here" recommendation. A simple comparison table lets people see the differences at a glance, and being upfront about who the offer is for helps them skip the second-guessing.

2. Support executive function
Break big actions into smaller steps. "Book a call" becomes:
"Step 1: Pick a time.
Step 2: Fill out a 2-minute form."
Embed your scheduler or link directly to it so nobody has to go hunting for the next move.

3. Minimize overwhelm
Short paragraphs, plenty of white space, and consistent fonts make a page easier to read. Clear info on pricing, time commitment, and expectations removes the guesswork that fuels stress.

4. Be explicit and encouraging
Tell people what happens after they click, like "You'll get a confirmation email and a prep guide within 24 hours." Let them know it's okay to take their time, and offer a "Need help deciding?" option so questions have somewhere to go.

These tweaks help everyone who lands on your page, and they send a clear message that you respect your audience's energy. That respect is what turns browsers into clients who trust you. That's Just Marketing® in action!

What's one small detail you've spotted on a sales page that made saying yes feel easier?
I'd love to collect some real-world examples in the comments.

How many browser tabs did you have open the last time you tried to buy something online? 😅

For many neurodivergent folks, buying something online can take more mental energy than the thing we're buying. When a sales experience drains that energy before someone reaches a decision, the offer becomes out of reach for them, however amazing it may be.

Conversations about accessibility often start with visual and physical accommodations, and those matter. Cognitive accessibility deserves a seat at that table too. It's about lowering the mental load it takes to understand an offer and decide whether it's a good fit.

I dig into three common barriers on the blog:

1. Decision fatigue
Three pricing tiers, seven bonuses, a bundle add-on, and a countdown timer can feel like being handed a restaurant menu the size of a phone book. When the brain gets lots of options and very little guidance, the most common outcome is no decision at all.

2. Executive dysfunction
Someone can fully want to work with you and still get stuck on a long form, an extra click, or a checkout that leaves them to figure out the next step alone. This is a real, brain-based challenge that many ADHDers know well.

3. Cognitive overwhelm
Walls of text, shifting fonts, and emotionally loaded urgency make readers work overtime to sort out what matters. Eventually, closing the tab starts to feel like the kindest option available.

The blog also covers where sales pages most often go sideways and how accessible offers build trust with a more values-aligned community.

It’s true... my time is limited.

Not because I’m trying to manufacture urgency, but because I work closely with my clients, and I give a lot of energy to every project I take on.

No countdown timers.
No fake “Only 2 spots left!” drama.
Just… real boundaries and a full heart for the work I do.

So if you’ve been thinking about working with me - whether it’s for content strategy, social media, or Facebook ad support - this is your gentle nudge to reach out.

I can’t promise I’ll have availability immediately.

But if I can help, I will.

And if I can’t?
I’ll do my best to point you in the direction of someone values-aligned who can.

Let’s normalize messy momentum.

Because doing something imperfectly
– still counts
– still moves you
– still teaches you something
– still matters

Your marketing doesn’t have to be flawless to be effective.
Your content doesn’t need a full photoshoot or a 30-step funnel to make an impact.

What it does need?

1. To reflect your voice and values
2. To be shared consistently - not perfectly
3. To support real people, not just chase clicks

So show up.
Share the post.
Send the email.
Record the voice note.
Even if it’s not perfect.

Because the people who need you?
Aren’t waiting for flawless.
They’re waiting for real.

Psst...

The most effective funnels make it easy for people to walk away.

I know, I know. That feels upside down if you learned marketing from playbooks full of countdown timers and email sequences that follow you around like a lost puppy.

Permission-based marketing asks before it assumes. People enter your world on their own terms and decide how (and when) they want to engage. Consent sits at the center of the whole system.

For neurodivergent folks especially, this matters a lot. Many of us need extra time to process, a clear picture of what we're signing up for, and some control over how we take in information. When a funnel honors those needs, people relax. And relaxed people get curious.

So what does this look like in real life? A few easy places to start:

– Give your "no thanks" button the same visibility as your "yes" button

– Ask new subscribers what they want to hear about when they join your list

– Offer a low-key path for folks who want to lurk for a while, like following along on social or reading the blog

– Keep the sensory load gentle by skipping autoplay audio and 20-click journeys

I dig into all of this (plus how to reimagine your funnels through an ethical lens) on the blog: MegBrunson.com/permission-based-marketing

What's one funnel tactic that makes you close the tab immediately?

Every number on a marketing dashboard reflects a choice someone made about what counts as success.

Conversion rates, and follower counts, and ROI… oh my!

For values-driven entrepreneurs, especially those of us navigating ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence, chasing these numbers can quietly pull our marketing away from the trust and accessibility we care about. Neurodivergent buyers often need more time and clarity before making a decision, and pressure tactics tend to push them away.

Our latest blog post breaks down five commonly celebrated metrics and the ethical cracks underneath each one:
– Conversion rate
– Open and click rates
– Follower count and vanity metrics
– Abandoned cart metrics
– ROI as the only measure of success

We also explore how these metrics became standard practice in the first place. The short version: pressure tactics get rewarded with quick results, and marketing advice tends to get recycled without anyone asking who it serves.

Measurement still has a meaningful place in ethical marketing.

The blog closes with alternative metrics grounded in trust and alignment, plus a gentle, step-by-step way to shift your tracking system at your own pace.

Want a way to respond to objections that feels lik

Want a way to respond to objections that feels like you?

When a potential client hesitates, it's tempting to reach for a rehearsed comeback. Instead, try this four-step approach that’s grounded in empathy, easy to remember, and ADHD-friendly.

1. Acknowledge
Start by validating their concern. Listening comes first.
Try: "That totally makes sense. Thank you for being honest."

2. Ask
Get curious and invite them to share more.
Try: "What information would help you feel more confident in your decision?"

3. Affirm
Remind them their agency matters.
Try: "It's okay to take your time. I'm not going anywhere."

4. Align - *only if it's a true fit!
If you believe your offer can help and their hesitation comes from a misunderstanding, gently connect the dots between your work and their goals.
Try: "From what you've shared, it sounds like this could give you the structure you've been craving. Want to explore what that could look like together?"

That fourth step comes with an asterisk for a reason. Sometimes the most ethical move is recognizing when an offer isn't the right match and pointing someone toward a better resource. That kind of honesty is how referrals and raving fans are born.

Bonus tip for my neurodivergent friends: write a few go-to responses in your own words and practice them out loud until they feel natural. Having language ready can calm your nervous system when an objection pops up mid-call.

Find examples for…
- "I can't afford it,"
- "I need to think about it," and
- "I'm not sure this will work for me,"
at MegBrunson.com/handle-objections

Which step feels hardest for you?

For me, it used to be Affirm, because staying patient with my own fear of rejection took practice.

ID: Title, 'How to Respond To Objections Without Shame or Pressure,' four overlapping curved arrows in pink, orange, yellow, and green connect labeled steps: acknowledge, affirm, ask, and align (only if it's a true fit).'
